The problem
Personalised children's books either swap in a name over stock art, or use AI that redraws the child slightly differently on every page. Parents notice immediately, and a keepsake that does not look like their child is not a keepsake.
What we built
A photo becomes a character, the character becomes a story, and the story becomes a printable book. The hard part is not generating a picture of a child — it is generating forty of them that are recognisably the same child.
Appearance lock
One master render is described in an immutable paragraph that every later page is generated against, so the face does not drift between illustrations.
Six-view turnaround
The character is rendered from six angles before any page is drawn, which is what lets later scenes place them anywhere without redesigning them.
Story and page direction
The narrative is written first, then split into per-page image prompts, so the illustrations follow the story instead of the story being retrofitted to stock art.
Print-ready output
Line art is vectorised and laid out as a press-ready PDF, not a folder of PNGs the parent has to deal with.
